Julie Hecht

Julie Hecht is the author of the story collections Do the Windows Open?, all first published in the New Yorker, and Happy Trails to You; the novel The Unprofessionals; and Was This Man a Genius?: Talks with Andy Kaufman. She has won an O. Henry Prize and a Guggenheim Fellowship. She is currently writing her next book, Every Single Thing.
