Carlos Yushimito

Carlos Yushimito is a Peruvian writer, born in Lima in 1977. He has published the short story collections El mago (The Magician, 2004), Las islas (The Islands, 2006), Equis (X, 2009), Lecciones para un niño que llega tarde (Lessons for a Child that is Late, 2011), Los bosques tienen sus propias puertas (Forests have their own Doors, 2013) and Rizoma (2015). In 2010 he was chosen as one of Granta’s Best Young Spanish Language Novelists.
