I joined the team in 2019 after coming to the UK from New Zealand in 2013. My responsibilities at Granta are wide-ranging but some of the things you might find me doing are managing Submittable, proofreading and factchecking, negotiating a contract, or editing a story for the online or print edition. I hold an MA in Contemporary Literature, Culture and Theory from King’s College London. A book I love from Granta’s backlist: Leaving the Atocha Station by Ben Lerner. My most dog-eared copy of Granta magazine: whichever one just came out.
