Rodrigo Fresán

Rodrigo Fresán was born in Buenos Aires in 1963 and has lived in Barcelona since 1999. He is the author of Historia argentinaVidas de santosTrabajos manualesEsperantoLa velocidad de las cosas, and more. Translations into English include Kensington Gardens (Natasha Wimmer, FSG), The Bottom of the Sky (Will Vanderhyden, Open Letter), and The Invented Part (Vanderhyden, Open Letter).‘Never Neverland’, published in Granta 88, is an excerpt from his novel, Kensington Gardens. In 2017 Fresán was awarded the Prix Roger Callois in France for the entirety of his body of work. He was a judge for Granta 155: Best of Young Spanish-Language Novelists.
