Oliver Sacks

Oliver Sacks was born in London and obtained his medical degree at Oxford. Since 1965, he has lived in New York, where he is clinical Professor of Neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, adjunct Professor of Neurology at the NYU School of Medicine and consultant neurologist to the Little Sisters of the Poor and at Beth Abraham Hospital. His books include The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat, An Anthropologist on Mars, and most recently, Musicophilia.
