John Kinsella’s most recent books of poetry are Drowning in Wheat: Selected Poems (Picador) and The Wound (Arc Publications). He is the author of dozens of books of poetry, fiction and criticism. Awards include the Christopher Brennan Award for lifetime achievement in poetry, the Australian Prime Minister’s Prize for Poetry and a Poetry Book Society ‘Choice’. He is a Fellow of Churchill College, Cambridge University, and Professor of Literature and Environment at Curtin University, Western Australia. Manchester University Press recently published his consideration of place, Polysituatedness.
