Derek Mahon

Derek Mahon was awarded the 2007 David Cohen Prize for Literature. His collections of poetry include Harbour Lights, Collected Poems and Adaptations, all published by The Gallery Press. ‘Somewhere the Wave’, published in Granta 100, is the title poem of an ‘interim’ collection published by Gallery in a limited edition. He was born in Belfast in 1941 and now lives in Kinsale, County Cork.
