Brigid Brophy

Brigid Brophy’s novels include Flesh, Hackenfeller’s Ape, Snow Ball, and Palace without Chairs. She was a frequent contributor to the TLS and the London Review of Books and advocate of women’s rights and vegetarianism. She died in 1995.
