Ali Fitzgerald

Ali Fitzgerald is a comic artist and writer living in Berlin. She is a regular contributor to the New Yorker. Her comics have also appeared in New York Magazine’s The Cut, The New York Times, The Huffington Post, Bitch, and The Guardian. Between 2013 and 2016, Fitzgerald wrote the column Queer Berlin for the arts e-magazine Art21. In the spring of 2018, she collaborated with the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art on a series of graphic works about Magritte. She has led visual storytelling workshops at the National Library of Germany, the University of Bath, and Shakespeare and Company in Paris.
