Stanley Elkin

Stanley Elkin was an author of several collections of stories and novels including, George Mills (1982) and Mrs. Ted Bliss (1995) which both won the National Book Critics Circle Award; The MacGuffin which was a finalist for the National Book Award in 1991 and a novella, The Bailbondsman, which was adapted into a film staring Jack Lemmon. He died in 1995.
