Panos Karnezis

Panos Karnezis was born in Greece in 1967 and came to England in 1992 to study engineering. He is the author of two novels, The Maze and The Birthday Party, and the short-story collection Little Infamies (Cape). ‘Whale’, which appeared in Granta 72, was his first published story.
