Granta editor Alex Clark has left the magazine. The Granta Board would like to thank Alex for her positive contribution to Granta over the past eighteen months, and wishes her every success for the future.

Granta contributor Decca Aitkenhead has an
with British-born, German-raised novelist Charlotte Roche in the Guardian. Roche’s debut novel, Wetlands (Feuchtgebiete), was a controversial bestseller in Germany last year. Congratulations to Aleksandar Hemon whose novel The Lazarus Project was recently announced as a finalist for this year’s National Book Critics Circle Award. Hemon contributed to Granta 103: ‘The Rise of the British Jihad’.
