On July 9 in London’s Southbank Centre, Granta hosted a panel discussion on the future of literary magazines in the digital age. On the panel were A.L. Kennedy, Costa Award-winning author of Paradise and Day, Adam Thirlwell, author of Politics and The Escape, who was one of Granta’s Best of Young British Novelists and winner of a recent Somerset Maugham Award, and John Freeman, Granta’s acting editor and author of the forthcoming Don’t Send: The Unbearable Tyranny of E-mail. The discussion was moderated by
Erica Wagner
, novelist and literary editor of the Times.
